To me, Christmas brings out some of the best holiday traditions. From decorating trees to giving gifts, it’s a time of year for friends and family to get together and participate in fun activities. Holiday baking, without a doubt, is probably one of my all-time favourite ones. I have some of my favourite memories opening gifts with my family on Christmas day, then enjoying amazing Christmas treats to start off the morning.
One of the recipes that became an instant classic with my family are Land of Nod Cinnamon Buns. Similar to monkey bread, these pull-apart cinnamon buns never last long in our house. I was very pleased with the way they turned out, especially since this was the first time I actually made them myself (my parents are wonderful cooks). Plus, the recipe is surprisingly simple and easy to make for cinnamon buns—perfect for a new chef. One thing to note: you just can’t have these without a little butter. It just makes an already excellent dessert that much better. Here’s to another Christmas of amazing food!
20 Unbaked frozen dinner rolls
1 Cup brown sugar
¼ Cup instant vanilla pudding mix
2 Tsps ground cinnamon
¾ Cup raisins (optional)
⅓ Cup butter, melted
